About Merchant Patch

We build Shopify sections you own instead of apps you rent.

The average Shopify store runs 15–20 apps. Each one adds JavaScript to every page load, whether or not the shopper ever touches the feature — and each one bills you every month for as long as you keep it. A countdown timer is roughly fifteen dollars a month. A sticky add-to-cart is thirteen. A free-shipping bar is ten. None of that is a hard engineering problem. It is a rental agreement.

Merchant Patch exists because most of those features are a single Liquid file. So we wrote them properly, documented them, and sell them once.

What that means in practice

  • You get the file, not access to a service. Paste it into your theme and it is yours — edit it, rename it, strip parts out, use it on every store you own.
  • Nothing loads from our servers. No external requests, no tracking, no script tag phoning home. We could disappear tomorrow and your store would not notice.
  • No renewal. There is nothing to cancel, because there is nothing recurring.

What we will not pretend

These are storefront sections, not an app and not a theme. They do not sync inventory, send email, or run anything server-side. If you need logic outside the browser, you still need an app — and we would rather tell you that up front than take the sale.

We also do not have thousands of reviews or a wall of logos, because we are new. What we have is code you can read before you buy, a free section so you can test the install on your own theme first, and a 30-day refund where you keep the files either way.

Start where it costs nothing

Take the free FAQ section. It is the same file that ships inside the Core Pack — not a cut-down demo. If it installs cleanly on your theme, everything else will too.
